Domains registered through GN Hosting belong to the person placing the order. All names are registered in the owners name. We do not charge for transfers or nameserver changes, however a charge of £7.95 is levied to transfer a .com .net or .org domain name into GN Hosting and this will extend the registration period by 1 year. If you want web or email forwarding we offer a package which allows you to manage up to 100 domains DNS and forwarding for only £4.99 a year. Restrictions. .ltd.uk and .plc.uk. To register these two you must have a company registered at companies house in the same name as the domain name and you must submit the matching company number. e.g. if your company is called Smiths Plumbers of London Ltd you can register smithsplumbersoflondon.ltd.uk but not spol.ltd.uk (initials) or smithsplumbers.ltd.uk (shortened). The company number must also match the company name. .me.uk To register this you must be a natural person as opposed to a business. You can register any name you want but if it is not representative of your name another person who it does accurately describe can appeal. If your name is John Smith you can rightfully register smith.me.uk or johnsmith.me.uk. But if your name is john smithe and you register john smith, this could be appealed against by anyone called John Smith. The .BIZ domain can only be used for a "bona fide business
or commercial use". A bona fide business use is one of the following: Registering a domain name solely for the purposes of (1) selling, trading or leasing the domain name for compensation, or (2) the unsolicited offering to sell, trade or lease the domain name for compensation does not constitute a "bona fide business or commercial use" of that domain name. For illustration purposes, the following do not constitute
a "bona fide business or commercial use" of a domain name: PRICES
